AIIMS

Organised by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS UG is conducted to select candidates for MBBS degrees offered at the seven campuses of AIIMS. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

The GATE exam is conducted to facilitate admissions for postgraduate engineering courses in IITs. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science. Considered one of the toughest exams in India, the GATE syllabus comprises the concepts taught during the 4 years of the undergraduate degree. It is organised as an online exam and evaluates test-takers on two parameters, i.e. General Aptitude and knowledge of Technical and Engineering Mathematics.

Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT)

Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam that is conducted to offer admissions in LLB and LLM. Though some of the law schools accept LSAT while others rely on the CLAT scores for the admissions. The exam is conducted once a year and the mode of examination is offline. For admission to a bachelors course, the eligibility criteria need a candidate to have completed the 12th class examinations while as for a master’s degree, a bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite.

National Institute of Design Entrance Exam

Another pivotal mention amongst the top 10 toughest exams in India, NID Exam is a design aptitude test conducted by the admission committee of the National Institute of Design to select candidates for its prospective design courses such as Bachelor of Design (BDes), Master of Design (MDes), amongst others. It is carried out in a two-level process, NID Prelims and NID Mains through which aspirants are shortlisted for admissions at the National Institutes of Design located across the country.

Common Admission Test (CAT)-  Common Admission Test or CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for the students who want to study MBA/ PGDM in India. You need to score a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation. This is the most important entrance exam after graduation in India if you want to pursue MBA from top b-schools.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT)- Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for the students who want to study MBA/ PGDM from India. You need to pass graduation to sit for MAT. If you can’t clear CAT, then MAT is the second-best entrance exam after graduation for you.

Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)- Graduate Record Examinations or GRE is conducted by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) for the graduates seeking admission in various business schools abroad. After graduation, this entrance exam is the second-best option for you if you want to study abroad.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT)- Common Proficiency Test or CPT is conducted by the Council of the Institute Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). If you want to pursue a career in Accountancy, this entrance exam after graduation will help you become a Chartered Accountant in India.

Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM)- Joint Admission Test or IIT JAM is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science. After graduation, it is the entrance exam for admission to M.Sc and M.Sc.-Ph.D. integrated program. JAM is conducted in seven subjects:
