Eligibility Criteria NTSE 2022

NTSE Eligibility Criteria for Students Studying Abroad


Indian Residents studying abroad may take the NTSE Examination under the following conditions:
• The student must be an Indian citizen.
• If the candidate attends Class 10 or equivalent, he qualifies directly for Level 2.
• The candidate must have achieved at least 60% in the final examinations of class IX.
• The candidate must choose an examination center in India.

Test Structure

• The document is divided into two parts: SAT and MAT. There are 100 questions on both the SAT and MAT (math - 20, science - 40, social studies - 40).
• The length of MAT and SAT is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
• There is no negative marking. Candidates who qualify for both exams will be considered separately on merit.
• The selection of the suitable candidate for the scholarship is based on their total score in the MAT and SAT.
