BSc in Horticulture rather than a BSc in Agriculture

  • If you want to work with crops, BSc Horticulture is a better option than BSc Agriculture. Horticulture is a field of study that focuses on crop growing and encompasses all of the relevant areas.

Eligibility Criteria for BSc Horticulture

  • Candidates must finish a 10+2 program in Science with Biology as one of the required topics.
  • The student should have a minimum of 55 percent in any science stream with Biology as a mandatory subject.
  • Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of more than 50% in class 12. This, however, may differ from one university to the next.
  • Candidates must be at least 27 years old. The maximum age restriction varies each college and is usually between 21 and 24 years old.

Options after BSc Horticulture
