Education Ministry Organises Goodness Of Millets

All schoolchildren are welcome to take part in the Goodness of Millets Quiz. The deadline for registering and taking the quiz on the MyGov portal is October 31. (12 am).
The Ministry of Education is hosting a millets quiz competition called the Goodness Of Millets Quiz. The Department of School Education and Literacy of the Education Ministry is running an online quiz on the MyGov portal about the goodness of millets and their health benefits. Millets are a type of small grain that is high in vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants, which aid in the prevention of nutritional deficiencies. The Goodness Of Millets Quiz is open to all school-aged children. The Goodness Of Millets Quiz, which began on October 6 online at quiz.mygov.in, will run until October 30.
The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution designating 2023 as the "International Year of Millets." The resolution aims to raise public awareness of the health benefits of millets as well as their suitability for cultivation in harsh climate change conditions.

Candidates must provide their names, dates of birth, correspondence address, email address, and mobile number in order to participate in the Education Ministry Quiz. The Goodness Of Millets Quiz will last five minutes and a maximum of 20 questions can be answered. There will be no deductions for incorrect answers. Participants can view their results after the quiz has ended. Certificates will be issued to all participants, according to the MyGov Portal.
