Joint Entrance Examination – Main, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an all India standardized computer-based test for admission to various technical undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning across India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. JEE Main has two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.

Exam Mode :
JEE Main will be held in online computer-based test mode. However, the drawing test of paper 2 will be held in pen and paper mode.

-1 for each incorrect response for MCQs

There will be total 90 questions in Paper I (B.E/ B.Tech) and 82 questions in Paper IIA (B.Arch) and 105 questions in Paper IIB (B.Plan).

Syllabus

Before appearing for this exam candidates must have a complete information about the JEE Main syllabus. The JEE Main 2022 syllabus for B.Tech/ B.E paper consists of total three subjects that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • For JEE Main (B.E /B.Tech) Paper, the questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

  • For JEE Main (B. Arch) Paper, the questions will be from Mathematics, drawing and Aptitude.

  • For JEE Main (B. Plan) Paper, the questions will be from Mathematics, planning based and Aptitude section.

JEE Mains Paper II & III (B.Arch/ B.Plan) Syllabus:

PART 1

Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials, Visualizing three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings, Visualizing, Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal), etc.

PART 2

Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, color texture, Transformation of forms both 2D and 3D union, building forms and elements, harmony and contrast, subtraction, rotation, creating two dimensional and three -dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms, etc.
