About College

The institute was set up in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala.

Spread over about 112.5 acres of land, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, is situated on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam Area of ancient city of Calicut in Kerala. Boasting of one of the most picturesque and oxy-rich campuses in the country, the world class infrastructure includes air-conditioned classrooms, guest care areas and LAN/WAN connectivity which enables every IIMK resident to be exposed to a wholesome experience.

CAT 2022

Cut-Offs

For the academic year (2021-23) MBA admissions, the qualifying CAT cutoff has remained the same as that of the previous year i.e 85 percentile. However, the minimum score required in graduate level has been 60% from the previous bar of 50%. For CA/ICWA/CS qualifiers, the minimum marks required remained 50%.

Admissions

IIM Kozhikode MBA admission has started and the college has now released the stage 2/ PI Calls on January 21, 2022. Earlier, on January 06, 2022 IIM Kozhikode released stage 1 shortlist or released admission calls for all eligible candidates. Candidates having their names in the shortlist can register for admission to IIM Kozhikode. MBA Admission will be based on CAT score and Personal Interview. Along with this, a higher weightage to academics and diversity, and lower weightage to CAT 2020 score will be highlights of PGP Shortlisting Process in 2022. The MBA selection criteria will remain the same, where WAT might be excluded and the interview may be conducted online. PGP-BL, PGP-LSM, PGP-Finance Admissions are based on CAT/GRE/GMAT score followed by PI.

Placements

The institute recently released its 2021 Final Placement Report, wherein the institute achieved a 100% placement record. The students bagged the Highest CTC of INR 46.88 LPA and an Average CTC worth INR. 22.5 LPA and a Median salary package of INR. 20 LPA.

Scholarships

IIMK Merit Scholarship: IIMK Merit Scholarship is awarded to PGP-I and PGP-II students on the basis of their performance during one academic year, as determined by their CGPA. The number of scholarships awarded is in the ratio of one scholarship for every 20 students in the first and second year.
