Are you planning to write NDA 2022, here is some basic information, you need to know about?

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been conducting NDA exams for so many years and a huge number of students appear every year. National Defence Academy provides proper training to selected candidates based on which they are selected for Indian Armed Forces including India Air Force, Indian Army and Indian Navy as officers. UPSC conducts this exam two times a year. NDA 1 2022 will be conducted on 10th April 2022 and its respective online application form will be accessible from 22nd December 2021 onwards. NDA Eligibility Criteria 2022

Age: between 16.5 to 19.5 years

Note: There is no age relaxation provided to reserved category applicants for the NDA & NA examinations as per the rules set by the Union Public Service Commission.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen, A subject of Nepal and Bhutan and People of Indian origin migrated from Zaire, Ethiopia, East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam to settle in India or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to permanently stay in India

Note: Those meeting any one of the four points mentioned above with a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India can apply for the UPSC NDA 2022 exam.

 Marital Status: Candidate must be unmarried and must remain unmarried till training.

 

Education qualification 2022

Indian Army

Passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University

Indian Air Force and Naval

Passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University

 

 

Pattern of Exam

    Mode of Exam: The paper will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode.

    Number of Sections: In the paper, there will be two sections – Mathematics & General Ability.

    Exam Duration: Candidates will be given 5 hours to complete the paper (2 hours 30 minutes each for Mathematics and GA section).

    Questions type: There will be objective types of questions in the paper.

    Paper Language: The paper will be bilingual – in English as well Hindi language.

    Marking pattern: For each wrong answer, 33% of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
